Setting up your Turneo Store

To start selling experiences, you first need to create a Store. Learn about your options and how a Store relates to the Elements you use to embed experiences across your website.

1️⃣ What is a Store and why do you need it?

A Store lets you associate experiences you want to sell with your Turneo profile. You can associate experiences already on Turneo, or ones created specifically for your hotel.

Setting up a Store is a pre-requisite for using Elements, which let you embed experiences across your website.

  • If you don't have a website, or want to sell experiences through a standalone page, your Store also creates a unique experiences shop automatically. It gets a public link on the turneo.travel domain with a custom name you choose (e.g. jadebeach-hotel.turneo.travel), which you can use to sell directly.
  • If you have your own website, we recommend using Turneo Elements to place your experience offer across different parts of the site. In that case you don't need the turneo.travel link, and it won't be visible anywhere else.

Whether you sell through a Store link or embed with Elements, setting up your Store is always the first step — it associates experiences with your profile and configures settings that apply across all of them (branding, customer support, checkout, billing).

2️⃣ When to use one vs multiple Stores?

If your hotel has multiple properties or destinations, you can either set up one Store per destination or a single Store covering all of them — both are supported. To decide:

  • If you want a different support email or number per property, set up multiple Stores.
  • If you want separate booking and revenue analytics per property, set up multiple Stores. Otherwise, metrics for all experiences are merged into one overview.

3️⃣ Create a new Store

  1. Go to Stores and click New Store

The Stores page, with the New Store button top-right.

  1. Give your Store a name (e.g. "Jade Beach City Hotel Store")
  2. Choose whether to:
    • Start blank, or
    • Copy an existing Store — this copies its branding and settings, but the new Store's catalogue always starts empty

Naming a new Store and choosing Start Blank or Copy an Existing Store.

  1. Work through the left-hand menu — General, Branding, Checkout, Billing and Catalogue — to finish setting it up (see the sections below for what each covers)
  2. Click Publish once you've added at least one experience

4️⃣ View and manage your Stores

The Stores page lists every Store you've set up. You can:

  • Filter the list, and switch between Table and Card view — Card view also shows each Store's banner and logo at a glance

Table view.

Card view — each card shows the Store's banner and logo.

  • Click Export to download a CSV or Excel file of the experiences across one Store or all of them — useful for reporting on which experiences sit in which Store

The Export dialog — choose a shape (one row per experience, or a matrix) and a format (Excel or CSV).

  • Click into a Store to see its full catalogue of experiences

5️⃣ Add experiences to your Store

  1. Click Edit 🖋️ on a Store (or open it from the list) and go to Catalogue

  1. Click Add to Catalogue
  2. Find the experiences you want to add:
    • In-house experiences you've created yourself are listed directly
    • External experiences are found by searching for the partner by name — you no longer need to know or enter a location to find them

Searching the External tab of the Add to Catalogue dialog — no location needed, just a name or partner.

  1. Select the experiences and click Add

To remove an experience from a Store, open its catalogue and click Remove from store.

You can also add an experience to a Store without leaving the experience itself: open the experience, go to its Selling tab, click Add to More Stores, and pick the Store(s) — no need to visit each Store individually.

6️⃣ View and manage a Store's Elements

From inside a Store, open its Elements tab to see every Element linked to that Store without having to go to the main Elements page.

From here you can also create a new Element directly, starting blank or copying an existing one.

7️⃣ Add your branding

  1. Click Edit 🖋️ on a Store and choose Branding from the left-hand menu
  2. You can edit:
    • Style — colours and corner style (sharp or rounded) used across the Store
    • Fonts — the typography used across the Store
    • Logo — appears in the top-left corner of your experience store, and in booking emails to guests
    • Banner image — the cover photo at the top of your experience store
    • Background colour — white or dark background for the Store

The Branding tab — Style and Fonts sections shown here also apply to the Store's Elements by default.

Branding you set here applies by default to every Element linked to this Store — you only need to set colours, fonts and corners once instead of per Element. You can still override the branding on an individual Element if you want it to look different (see Setting up your Turneo Elements).

8️⃣ Customise your settings

  1. Click Edit 🖋️ on a Store and choose Checkout from the left-hand menu
  2. You can choose:
    • Room or reservation number — decide if you want to collect this from guests, and whether it's mandatory

The Checkout tab — guest checkout fields and Checkout Questions.

  • Checkout Questions — add questions you want to ask guests every time they book from this Store
  • Payment Options — choose which payment methods are available at checkout

Checkout Questions and Payment Options, further down the same tab.

9️⃣ Manage billing for your Store

  1. Click Edit 🖋️ on a Store and choose Billing from the left-hand menu
  2. Decide the billing entity for this Store:
    • Merge it with another Store so bookings are billed together under one invoice
    • Keep it billed separately, as its own entity
  3. Add the financial email recipients who should receive invoices for this Store

The Billing tab — billing entity and financial email recipients.

🔟 Publish your Store

Once you've filled in the details you need and added at least one experience to the catalogue, click Publish to make the Store live.
