Oracle Opera Integration
What is this integration?
The Turneo-Oracle Opera integration automatically sends guest booking information from your Turneo booking platform directly into Oracle Opera. When a guest books an experience through Turneo, the details appear automatically in the guest's reservation in Opera - no manual entry required.
What does it do?
For Every Turneo Booking:
- Finds the guest's reservation in Opera (using their email address)
- Adds booking details to the reservation's comments section
- (Optional) Posts charges to the guest's folio for room charging
What You'll See in Opera:
- Reservation Comments Tab: Detailed booking information with title "Turneo Booking [code]"
- Guest Folio (if charging enabled): Line item charge for the experience

How Guests Are Found in Opera
Turneo searches for the guest's reservation using this priority:
- Confirmation number (if provided by the guest)
- Guest email address (most common method)
✅ If multiple reservations exist, Turneo selects the one closest to the experience booking date
What Happens When Bookings Change?
Booking Updated:
- Comment is updated with new information
- Status changes (e.g., "Approved" → "Confirmed")
- Previous comment is replaced with updated details
Booking Cancelled:
- Comment updated to show "Cancelled" status
- Details remain visible for your records
- (If charged) Refund must be processed manually in Opera
Multiple Bookings:
- Each booking gets its own separate comment
- Comment titles are unique: "Turneo Booking TB001", "TB002", etc.
- All comments remain visible in the reservation
